Synopsis: Effects-laden futuristic yarn about a commando-turned-cabbie that stumbles onto an ancient prophecy about the existence of a "fifth element" taken from earth by a race of aliens. The aliens return but are massacred, and only by some remaining DNA is one of the supreme beings created to lead humans to the element even as fellow aliens look to exact revenge. The impending annihilation can only be stopped by the fifth element, if they can find it.
