Synopsis: Aging actress Helen Walbridge has managed to keep her daughter a secret, concealed at a boarding school her whole life. When the daughter, Lois, now an adult, shows up at Helen's apartment, she meets Stuart "Mac" McAllister, Helen's companion. Lois and Mac strike up a friendship, and Mac convinces Helen to reveal her daughter to the public. Lois struggles with this new attention, while Mac realizes he's falling for the young woman.
