Synopsis: When Prudence Budell returns from musical training, her grandmother, Abigail, hires Jose Iturbi to start her own opera company, in which Prudence stars. The company hits a snag when Prudence refuses to sing with the star tenor. When Johnny Donnetti delivers a piano to Prudence, she discovers that he can sing. Complications ensue when she attempts to start both a musical and a romantic partnership with him.
