Well, when I bought this DVD I would have to say it was because of "Shaun of the Dead" and the fact that Spaced it is all about Geeky homages. From those of Star Wars to Resident Evil, stuff which people can find amusing and funny without taking it too seriously.
However, Like I said, I only bought the DVD because of "Shaun of the Dead" and the fact that it was a hillarious movie with the "Spaced" cast and crew. I was not dissapointed in Spaced.
All 14 episodes are individual spanning through two years (and I won't give the plot-line away) but it captures what alot of sitcoms are trying to do. If your a fan of any other British Comedy on television such as Alan Partridge, Black Books or even Father Ted then you will alsmot certainly get kicks out of this.
If you are not sure about this DVD then I recommend you buy "Shaun of the Dead" as a 2-hour taster and then you can relate on how Spaced will feel in your DVD player. That's my only reason why it lost a star.
