An eccentric London inventor, Phileas Fogg, has come up with the secret to flight, electricity and even rollerblades, but the world has dismissed him as a crackpot. Desperate to be taken seriously, Fogg makes an outlandish bet with Lord Kelvin to circumnavigate the globe in 80 days! With his two sidekicks, Passepartout and Monique, Fogg is headed on a frantic, heart-pounding round-the-world race that takes our heroes to the world's most exotic places by land, sea and air.

I got this movie for one reason, because one of my favourite actors is Steve Coogan himself. And if you have seen Alan Partridge, Day today and The Parole Officer, you probably know why!.
The film itself tells a classic tale that even Jules Verne would be proud of. The cast list is incredibly featuring some of the greatests comics and actors out there. Including John Cleese, Rob Schneider, Jim Broadbent, Arnold Schwarzanegger, Owen and Luke Wilson, Kathy Bates and many more. Even if these names don't ring a bell to you, you will definatley recognise them when you see them!
I am glad I did buy this film and it has been added to my collection, although the opening scenes are slightly childish, you can easily be sucked into the movie and enjoy the way it goes. I am glad Disney made this, if you liked films such as National Treasure, you will enjoy this.
As for DVD extras, Disney has the ego to put trailers before the movie, you can skip them at a touch at the button but there isn't even a Trailer for this movie. Other than that, some nice Deleted scenes featuring more cut footage of John Cleese, and a Disney music video. This is one of those DVD's you will have to pick up "because of the movie"
