A great feel good movie that explores just how much our culture has changed in just 35 years. Brandon Fraser is excellent and believable as (Adam Weber), while Alicia Silverstone (Eve Rustikoff) manages to be hip but not too hip and balances well against the bright but unsophisticated Adam who was raised in a fallout shelter constructed by his brilliant scientist father played by Christopher Walken. Sissy Spacek plays Adams tea-toting mom driven further to the brink while encarcerated below ground when a not too subtle incident is percieved as the "Big One". Dave Foley plays the gay friend to Eve, and helps the couple at key plot points. See this one with someone you love and make sure you have lots of popcorn. Corny... yes, but a lot of fun along the way. This is the way a romantic comedy is supposed to be written.
