Synopsis: Comedy about an absentee father's return home to his wife and three eccentric genius kids to announce he's got six weeks to live. His claim proves a sham but his desire to right old wrongs has a profound effect on all as they try to deal with their own quirky relationships.

Let me start out by saying that I love Wes Anderson and his films. This film especially. The story is awesome, and hilarious, filled to the brim with regular humor, and overflowing with dark humor. You can clearly see he pulls things from French New Wave but he makes it his own. His mind is always thinking and always coming up with new ideas for his films on the spot. One thing I like about this movie is the charachters, he has the family: Mom, Dad, Brothers, Sister, Grandsons, Dog... But one character is not right in front of your eyes, you really have to comprehend the film and view the film in a certain perspective to see it though... The house. The house is a character and it brings more life to the story. Definetly see this film if you know is what is good for you.
