Is it just me, or do others find death funny too?

Whoever thought that someone would actually make a movie about people killing other human beings on live television, only it would be fiction? Is it just me or do other people find people killing others for a prize hilarious? After finding this at Blockbuster and not being able to buy it for two days, this was all I could think about, even before seeing it. "I hope it's still there!" "I hope no one found it behind those unsold copies of New York Minute!". Those were the only things I could think about for the two days waiting for my paycheck. I didn't know how it was going to be, good or bad, brilliant or just plain dumb, I just knew I wanted it after I heard what the story was about. So I finally got my paycheck and after racing down to Blockbuster to buy it I finally got to sit down and watch it today. Let me tell you, forget if Criterion Collection doesn't have it in their collection, forget that some people think it has uneccesary violence, it is freakin' brilliant. Funny, witty, action packed, and somewhat thrilling, this film had all my greatest expectations plus a bag of chips crammed into it. I really loved this movie, but sadly there is not much to say about a movie this odd, you'll just need to see it for yourself. There was one thing I didn't like about it... It seemed that they were so scared to make it more gory, it made it somewhat unbelievable. I mean in the first scene Dawn shoots an old guy, you don't see any blood splatter, no gunshot wound. You finally see blood pooling on the floor like 3 mintues later. Still worth seeing I give this brilliant film 3 and 1/2 stars, with only the un-goriness and how short the film was keeping it from a perfect 5 stars.
