Synopsis: Based loosely on Alan Moore's comic series in which a group of characters drawn from famous works of literature are commissioned by Queen Victoria to fight the threat of a madman bent on world domination.

Sean Connery does it again. His character is so believable and he interacts very well with the others. Stuart Townsend is one of my favorite actors (he was excellent in Queen of the Damned). Peta Wilson is hot and sexy as the Vampire and makes you wish she'd sink her teeth into you. The comic-book type heros and plot line may seem too Marvel-ish but the actors pull it off with ease. I'd recommend this as a must see.
