Sea Gull, The
An adaptation of the landmark Chekhov play, this film follows Konstantin, an aspiring writer whose unloving mother, Arkadina, is involved with haughty novelist Trigorin. Trigorin also attracts the attentions of Nina, a young woman whom Konstantin has loved from afar. After two years, Arkadina's brother becomes very sick, reuniting everyone and leading Konstantin to make an irrevocable decision about his future.
