Synopsis: A Glaswegian bus driver woos a Nicaraguan refugee and agrees to accompany her back to her country to lay the ghost of her ex-lover, the mysterious Antonio, to rest. The bus driver becomes the witness to a war he knows nothing about and in doing so, informs the viewer of the battles of the Sandinistas against the American-backed Contras.
