Synopsis: When archaeologist Robert Burton reports his discovery of an ancient tribe in Mexico, he is disappointed that his newspaper sends female photographer Kathryn Williams to cover it, since he thinks this will be an arduous journey. Burton needs a guide to get through the jungle, and Kathryn manages to convince landowner Juan Cervantes, who has developed feelings for her, to take them. However, jealousy and danger await them on their trek.
