Synopsis: Housewife Doris Borland makes her unlikely singing debut at a New York City opera house, as opera starlet Cecil Carver looks on. Unimpressed with Doris' performance, Cecil elicits some impromptu singing from Doris' contractor husband, Leonard. Though she might have ulterior motives, Cecil suggests that Leonard is the family's true singing talent, and the Borland household is rocked by the unforeseen role reversal.
