Synopsis: Acerbic but affecting dramedy about a bigoted, obsessive-compulsive novelist who has his life turned inside-out when his gay neighbor is hospitalized and the waitress who serves him every morning doesn't show up to work. All three find themselves on a weekend car trip together, each in search of something different.
