Synopsis: Fifteen-year-old Sherry Williams is the featured vocalist in the Fernridge School of Music's annual concert. She has dreams of following in the footsteps of her older sister, Josephine, who is a singing sensation in New York City, although perhaps not the kind Sherry imagines. Unbeknownst to the young girl, the older sister who has paid Sherry's way through school is known in the Big Apple as "Bubbles Barton, the Queen of Burlesque." This secret arrangement works to everyone's advantage until Sherry makes a surprise trip to the city to see Josephine perform and learns the shocking truth.
