Synopsis: Classic domestic comedy/weeper about a turbulent mother/daughter relationship, including flaps about the daughter's choice of a husband, mom's disinterest in being a grandma, and the husband's eventual infidelity. Things get better in the relationship only when the daughter is diagnosed with cancer.
