Synopsis: Bullet-happy buddy picture about a veteran cop/family man looking toward retirement and his hair-trigger partner turned suicidal after the death of his wife. They bicker their way through an investigation of a young woman's death and discovery of a shadowy group of former Vietnam War-era mercenaries now bringing heroin into L.A.
