For years, Boston Red Sox fans were convinced the day would never arrive when they would see their team win the World Series, but on October 27, 2004, the Sox defeated the St. Louis Cardinals in the fourth game of the championship series, bringing the title to Beantown for the first time since 1918. MLB: 2004 World Series is an official Major League Baseball documentary which collects the highlights from the championship series, as the Red Sox broke the "curse" that hung over them ever since they traded away Babe Ruth, and the St. Louis Cardinals struggled to give their competitors as good as they got.
