Synopsis: Lisa finds herself being forcefully wooed by Michael Michailow, a concert pianist many years her senior. In a nightclub, she finally succumbs to a kiss, and the sight causes the cabaret singer, Vera Kowalska, to faint. As Michael attempts to beat a hasty retreat, Vera shoots him. When Vera has her day in court, she initially refuses to testify. But eventually her reason for pulling the trigger -- and the mystery of Michael's identity -- is revealed.
