Synopsis: A woman of style, wealth and no small amount of arrogance, Carol Morgan callously turns away handsome business executive Bill Wade because he is only moderately rich. However, after the Great Depression hits, even Carol's fortunes fall, so she becomes involved with a millionaire despite his obnoxious behavior. Before long, though, Carol opts to be with Bill -- but will their love survive as their luck continues to decline?
