Synopsis: In the 1700s, French Canadian explorer Pierre Esprit Radisson envisions a vast fur trade based in the Hudson Bay area. Opportunity knocks when Radisson and his associate, Gooseberry, meet wealthy Englishman Lord Edward Crewe. After teaching Crewe about frontier survival, Radisson and Gooseberry journey with him to England, where Radisson attempts to convince King Charles II to fund his business endeavor.
