Synopsis: Lawyer Paula Rogers is appointed to prosecute corrupt district attorney Bradley Wayne for obstruction of justice in an effort to find a missing witness being held by Wayne's partner, racketeer Frank McCoy. Blackmailed by McCoy into defending the criminals instead, Paula falls in love with prosecutor Robert Larrimore. As the two grow closer, they join professional forces to indict Wayne and McCoy.
