Synopsis: Heartbroken by her love for the uninterested Phil Mayberry, Georgi Gragore attempts suicide. Karl Decker, a kindhearted physician for the poor, rescues Georgi, falls in love and quickly marries her. But when Karl notices Georgi's high-society lifestyle, he fears that he cannot support her with his low-paying career. To earn Georgi's love and devotion, Karl sacrifices his noble profession and opens a private practice for the wealthy.
