Synopsis: Returning to the themes of his classic Sunset Boulevard, director Billy Wilder weaves a noirish thriller of a aging Hollywood goddess and her impossible pursuit of youth in Fedora. William Holden stars as a film producer who travels to the Greek isles to coax a Garbo-like screen idol (Marthe Keller) out of seclusion. But the deeper he infiltrates Fedora's remote villa, evading an overprotective countless (Hildegard Knef) and a mysterious plastic surgeon (Jose Ferrer), the closer he comes to discovering the terrible secret behind the actress's timeless beauty.
