Synopsis: For much of the American public, Mary Martin is Peter Pan and her timeless, Tony and Emmy Award-winning performance in this classic family favorite has become one of the best-loved musical treasures. J.M. Barrie wrote this magical tale about a boy who was determined never to grow up, and Martin made him fly in the popular Jerome Robbins production, first on Broadway and then on national television. In 1960, Martin and Tony Award - winner Cyril Ritchard returned to perform this treasured classic for the last time -- now richly preserved in color, with all of the immediacy and technical imperfections of live television.
