Synopsis: Alice Faye stars as a cruise ship passenger and John Payne plays the liner's executive who has to postpone his wedding to get passenger waivers against lawsuits after their ship runs aground. He offers her a trip to Havana, puts her in the most lavish hotel, buys her an extravagant wardrobe and supplies her with gambling money. The only thing missing is romance. The incomparable spitfire Carmen Miranda struts her stuff, shakes her fruit and leads a great cast, including the debonair Cesar Romero, in this engaging and brightly colored musical.
