Synopsis: Mandy Jenkins (Cora Green) leaves Alabama for Harlem, where she lands a seamstress job with a financially troubled musical. When the star of the show, hard-drinking Eloise Jackson (Hazel Diaz), accidentally breaks her leg in a fall, desperate producer Ted Gregory (Carman Newsome) turns to Mandy for help. The talented girl saves the day, and the show heads for Broadway.
