Synopsis: The film takes place at the vulnerable time of passage between childhood and adulthood. It's the summer of his high school graduation and Greg is headed off to college. Greg had developed a crush on his mother's old girlfriend, Evelyn, who is more than twice his age and lives across the street. The crush develops into a full-fledged love affair in the head of summer, much to the horror of both families, in particular Greg's mother.
