Synopsis: Created by the waltz king Johann Strauss, Fledermaus is the dizzyingly silly story of Eisenstein who would rather party than go to jail; his wife Rosalinde who is keen to teach him a lesson; and their pert maid Adele, whose eye for the main chance is unwavering. Then there are the high society types who move with ease between ballroom and prison cell.
