Synopsis: This adaptation of the Anne Rice novel finds vampire Louis de Pointe (Pitt) relating the story of his strange life to a journalist (Slater); how he was attacked by the vampire Lestat (Cruise), learned to live as a vampire and "adopted" a young girl (Dunst) whose bloodlust came to rival his and Lestat's. Director Jordan's film boasts impressive performances and visual flare.
