Synopsis: This offbeat telling of the legend of Billy the Kid centers on the friendships of Billy (Jack Buetel), Doc Holiday (Walter Huston) and Pat Garett (Mitchell Thomas). Garrett welcomes Doc into Lincoln, New Mexico. Doc just wants to get his horse back from Billy the Kid, but they soon become friends. Garrett is left in the dust, while the newfound friendship falters as Rio, doc's desert siren girlfriend (Jane Russell), steals Billy's heart.
