Synopsis: A scrappy worker at a nuclear power plant grows disenchanted with lax safety procedures. The more vocal she becomes, the more the powers-that-be want to be rid of her. After discovering product defects, she becomes a union activist. "Coincidentally," she is then exposed to large amounts of radiation. Eventually, she disappears without a trace. Based on the true story of Karen Silkwood.
