Synopsis: Scrappy scientist John Abbott makes the dangerous trek west to examine a plot of land he purchased sight unseen, and arrives to find it overrun by outlaws. After being shot by a vicious gunman, Abbott tumbles down a cliff and falls into quicksand. He is rescued by kindly rancher Andrew Naab and promptly falls for his beautiful daughter, Miriam Naab. When Miriam falls prey to a band of abductors, Abbott steps in and struggles to save her.
