Synopsis: In this twisted take on the serial killer genre, Jennifer Lopez stars as a psychologist who must enter the mind of a deranged killer (D'Onofrio) who has fallen into a coma in order to discover where he took his last victim. Using an experimental “synaptic transfer machine,†Lopez subjects herself to the horrors of the murderer’s twisted psyche while FBI agent Vince Vaughn attempts to track down the missing girl using more conventional police procedures.
