Synopsis: Biography of Reinaldo Arenas, a Cuban poet who was imprisoned under Castro for the dual "crimes" of being gay and a writer of anti-establishment poetry. Even in prison, he never stopped writing, and once he was allowed to leave Cuba, he moved to America, where he embraced life and battled AIDS.
