Synopsis: Klaus lives with his two lazy brothers in a cobbler's workshop. He has to do all the work by himself. One day, he meets an old woman in the forest who gives him a golden goose for his friendliness. The goose has a special property: all curious, envious and greedy people become stuck to it. On his travels, Klaus gathers a motley collection of people, even a miller and his donkey. In the next town, he manages to make the king's daughter laugh who had become depressed out of boredom. The king, who had promised his daughter's hand in marriage to whomever could make her laugh, sets new tasks. Will Klaus manage to solve them...?
