Synopsis: One dark night, a fearsome rainstorm chases four people to a mysterious motel: a sneering gangster, an embezzling bank teller and a hopeful couple who are trying to elope. Shortly after the raging storm wipes out the surrounding roads, the trapped tourists begin to suspect that each of them -- even snooty caretaker Amos Bradford -- harbors a dark secret. Before long, these discoveries promise money and lead to murder.
