Synopsis: Set in 16th-century Mexico, this historical adventure follows nobleman Pedro De Vargas as he flees from Spain after offending an Inquisition officer. Pedro joins an expedition to Mexico alongside Cortez, an infamous conquistador, who changes the mission from exploration to conquering once they arrive in Mexico. In his journey across Mexico, Pedro falls in love with a beautiful woman and repeatedly avoids the clutches of the Inquisition.
