Synopsis: In a film based on actual events, Bernard Goldsmith is a career navy employee who was just fired from his job with no warning or explanation. He investigates, and is told he's been let go because of a tenuous connection he had in his youth with a communist organization. Desperate to clear his name, the ostracized Goldsmith contracts lawyer Joe DiMarco to dispute the dismissal. With Goldsmith's life and career on the line, DiMarco prepares to argue his case.
