Synopsis: John Wisdom cannot land a job, dogged as he is by having served time in prison. Frustrated with his situation and in need of some cash, he sets off on a cross-country journey with his girlfriend, Karen, on which the pair rob banks and then donate some of their earnings to farmers struggling in the tough economic climate. But, when Karen accidentally shoots a cop during a holdup, the couple become the target of a massive manhunt.
