Synopsis: A car salesman hopes to get out of debt by having two hoodlums kidnap his wife, obtaining the ransom money from his wealthy father-in-law, and then pocketing the cash after paying off the "kidnappers." His dimwittedness sends everything into mayhem, however, and a pregnant detective becomes suspicious.
