After three years at sea, Rex, an irrepressible King Penguin, heads home to South Georgia Island, which lies just north of the frozen vastness of Antarctica. On this beautiful, forbidding piece of land lies his birthplace and home: Penguin City. Unsure of what the wider world still has to offer him, Rex has decided to try something wholly different: marriage and, eventually, if he s lucky, family. Rex learns that marriage doesn t mean the end to life s troubles, and that entering into fatherhood is no small decision. As he navigates the ups and downs of his new life, he realizes that no matter how far he s traveled on his own, settling down and starting a family is the greatest adventure of all.
