Synopsis: When rich farm-owner James Ellison gives Scotty a wild pony to ride to and from school, the poor but proud boy falls instantly in love with the rough-and-tumble animal. One day the horse runs away, and shortly thereafter Scotty sees James' daughter Josie training a similar wild horse to pull her wheelchair. As the two children fight over whom the horse really belongs to, the divided town helps them find a way to settle the matter for good.
