Synopsis: Popeye the Sailor Man downs countless cans of spinach to keep his true love, Olive Oyl, out of the arms of his archnemesis, Bluto, in this first volume of classic animated Popeye shorts released between 1933 and 1938. Highlights from an impressive collection of more than 60 short films include Popeye's silver-screen debut in "Popeye the Sailor" (1933) and the Academy Award-nominated "Popeye the Sailor Meets Sinbad the Sailor" (1936).
