Florida is called the "Sunshine State". Visitors mainly come to enjoy the sunshiune, the sea, the never ending sandy shore of the peninsula and the unique atmosphere of Miami. But of course it is worth to spend time on the landscaped-protected areas such as the Everglades national Park and its fen, where they can slalom in between the alligators on hovercrafts.The following sights are also significant: Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, the House of Hemingway in Key West, the house of Edison in Fort Myers, the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg and the oldest American fortress - Castillo de San Marco - in St. Augustine.
