Synopsis: By 1942, Hitler's U-boats had crippled shipping in the Atlantic, bringing Britain to the brink of starvation, but a key source of intelligence eventually enabled the Allies to gain the upper hand. Through eyewitness accounts from former U-boat crew members, archival footage of the submarines in action and dramatizations, this series chronicles the battle for control of the Atlantic.
