Synopsis: The film is set in days following the end of the Civil War and revolves around the effects of Confederate POW to warn the commander of Union Fort Yuma of an impending attack by holdout Confederates led by seemingly die-hard Southern fanatic Major Sanders. The actual purpose of the assault is to divert the attention of the Union defenders while Sanders and his civilian cohort Nelson Riggs steal a great sum of money from inside the fort.
