Synopsis: Swimming in Auschwitz interweaves the stories of six Jewish women imprisoned inside the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp during the Holocaust. The women maintained a spiritual resistance against their Nazi aggressors through prayer, community, music and even humor. They speak of camp families and faith, uplifting one another while trying to retain their humanity. Their compelling testimonials reveal the power of laughter and community, even in the face of evil.
