Out of the Wild: The Alaska Experiment follows the stunning real-life experiences of nine ordinary Americans who have volunteered to participate in an incredibly unique experiment. They are flown in, dropped off and stranded deep in the heart of Central Alaska. Together, these nine outdoor enthusiasts must use their skills to make it back to civilization alive. Over the course of a grueling month in the wilds of Alaska, team members struggle to overcome incredible obstacles, including exhaustion and hunger. While the story is real, this is no reality show contest - there is no prize, just an epic test of wills pitting nine men and women against the harsh Alaska interior.
