Synopsis: On November 16, 1956, Fidel Castro sails to Cuba with eighty rebels, including Ernesto "Che" Guevara, with hopes of overthrowing the corrupt dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista. Che proves indispensable as a fighter and is soon embraced by his comrades and the Cuban people. Che: Part 1 tracks his rise in the Cuban Revolution from doctor to commander to revolutionary hero.
